Soccer Recap: Centennial Comes Up Short

Centennial was the 5-0 winner over Summit when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 1-0 on Friday. That's two games in a row now that Centennial have lost by just one goal.

Centennial is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5-1. As for Summit, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will host Page at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summit, they will welcome Nolensville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Summit's defense better be ready for this one: Nolensville have averaged an impressive 2.6 goals per game this season.
