Volleyball Recap: William Byrd Takes a Loss

William Byrd and Christiansburg squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but William Byrd had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Blue Demons. The Terriers have struggled against the Blue Demons recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-21, 25-18.

Reese Hall was nothing short of spectacular for Christiansburg: she had 14 digs and two aces. Hall has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last eight times she's played.

William Byrd's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Christiansburg, they pushed their record up to 24-0 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home.

William Byrd does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christiansburg, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Lord Botetourt on the 6th.
