While Arroyo's victory against Mountain View wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Vikings 7-5. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Arroyo's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Hailie Espinosa, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Arroyo's victory bumped their record up to 8-6-1. As for Mountain View, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-8.

Arroyo has already played their next match, a 16-1 win against Rosemead on the 4th. As for Mountain View, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against South El Monte on the 4th.
