Baseball Recap: Beverly Falls Short of Winchester in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Beverly can now relate to. They fell just short of the Winchester Red & Black by a score of 6-4 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since May 7th.

Beverly's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-9. As for Winchester, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-8.

Beverly does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Winchester, they will square off against Taunton on Monday. The Red & Black are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
