Forestburg hadn't done well against Midway recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Forestburg Longhorns managed a 58-52 victory over the Midway Falcons. Winning may never get old, but the Longhorns sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Forestburg to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kyler Willett, who posted 17 points. Willett has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jesse Wadsworth, who put up 15 points.

Forestburg pushed their record up to 19-5 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.3 points per game. As for Midway, they moved to 10-14 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Forestburg will challenge Saint Jo at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Midway has already played their next contest (against Gold-Burg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
