Abington Heights won the last time they faced Hazleton Area, and Chris Cummins did his part to make sure it happened again. The Comets blew past the Cougars 3-0 on Tuesday for which the team can thank Cummins, who had seven digs and four aces. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 aces per game.

Abington Heights never let Hazleton Area on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-23.

Abington Heights pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Hazleton Area, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season.
