Soccer Game Preview: South Side vs. Neshannock

The South Side Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Neshannock Lancers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. South Side's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

South Side came up short against Freedom Area on Tuesday, falling 5-1.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for Neshannock's offense. They fell 2-0 to Eden Christian Academy on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Neshannock came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 176th, while Eden Christian Academy are ranked 368th).

Neshannock's loss dropped their record down to 11-5-2. As for South Side, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1.

South Side might still be hurting after the 6-0 loss they got from Neshannock in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Rams avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
