Baseball Recap: Oxon Hill Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Oxon Hill entered their tilt with Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Tigers 9-7.

The team relied heavily on Johnathan Mack, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with five stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. He has become a key player for Oxon Hill: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 1-3 otherwise. Xavier Barnes also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Oxon Hill now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.
