Basketball Game Preview: Chester Cyclones vs. Eau Claire Shamrocks

The Chester Cyclones will head out on the road to take on the Eau Claire Shamrocks at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Friday, Chester came up short against Fairfield Central and fell 62-55. The Cyclones have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Eau Claire had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They managed a 59-54 win over Columbia on Friday.

Eau Claire pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Chester, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Chester was taken down by Eau Claire 74-44 in their previous matchup on January 9th. Can Chester avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
