Baseball Recap: Unity Reed Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Unity Reed's offense. They came up short against the Freedom Eagles on Tuesday, falling 16-0. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Unity Reed's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Freedom, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Unity Reed will head out to challenge Eastern View at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Freedom, they will venture away from home to take on Rock Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
