Basketball Recap: Meade Comes Up Short

Meade has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 63-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Gray Rebels on Monday. The Buffaloes were not able to make up for their loss to the Rebels from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Meade's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for South Gray, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meade will venture away from home to square off against Ingalls at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South Gray, they will square off against Spearville at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Spearville is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.4 points per game this season.
