Baseball Recap: Burbank Comes Up Short

Burbank lost to Crescenta Valley on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Bulldogs took a 12-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Falcons. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burbank's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Crescenta Valley, they pushed their record up to 15-2 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Burbank will square off against Arcadia at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Apaches have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Crescenta Valley, they will face off against La Serna at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
