Basketball Recap: Oakwood Academy Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Oakwood Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 67-44 margin over the Trinity Christian Academy Eagles. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Warhawks just coasted through the last quarter.

Sawyer Jones had an outrageously good game as he dropped a double-double with 26 points and ten rebounds. Another player making a difference was Seth McAlister, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 15 points and five steals.

As of now, neither Oakwood Academy nor Trinity Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
