Softball Recap: Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles vs. Wheeler Bearcats

Lake Station Edison extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 2-12 in the process. They came up short against the Wheeler Bearcats, falling 13-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bearcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Monday.

As for Wheeler, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The result was nothing new for the Bearcats, who have now won seven contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

For Wheeler's part, Nora Howell made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 12 over five innings pitched.
