Football Recap: Omaha Northwest Huskies vs. Grand Island Islanders
Omaha Northwest fell victim to Grand Island and their airtight defense on Friday. They were dealt a 68-0 loss at the hands of the Grand Island Islanders. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Islanders recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Ryker Booth went supernova for Grand Island, rushing for 83 yards and three touchdowns. Those 83 rushing yards gave Booth a new career-high. Kobyn Bolton did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 50 receiving yards.
Omaha Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Grand Island, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-7.
As of now, neither Omaha Northwest nor Grand Island have any future games scheduled.
