Recap: Thunderbird Adventist Academy vs. Sonoran Science Academy
Thunderbird Adventist Academy won the last time they faced Sonoran Science Academy, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Thunderbird Adventist Academy simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sonoran Science Academy 51-13 on the road.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Thunderbird Adventist Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katy Bayer, who scored 21 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bayer has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Shiloh Douglas, who scored 12 points along with six steals.
Thunderbird Adventist Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Sonoran Science Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-14.
Thunderbird Adventist Academy won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jones-Gordon at 6:45 p.m. on February 8th. Jones-Gordon's defense has only allowed 29.4 points per game this season, so Thunderbird Adventist Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. Sonoran Science Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
