Basketball Recap: Wonderful College Prep Academy Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Alexis Negrete and Joseph Almaraz

The Lions lost against the Wolves back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wonderful College Prep Academy Lions came up short against the Wonderful College Prep Academy Wolves, falling 55-30.

The Lions' loss came despite strong showings from Joseph Almaraz and Alexis Negrete. Almaraz posted ten points, while Negrete put up eight points.

The Lions' defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for the Wolves, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 7-13 record.

The Lions and the Buffalos will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. The Lions are facing the Buffalos at the right time seeing as the Buffalos are stuck on a 20-game losing streak. The Wolves have already played their next matchup (against the Cardinals), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
