It's playoff time, and Spring Garden had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Ider Hornets on Wednesday as they made off with a 12-4 victory. Considering the Panthers have won 15 matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Spring Garden is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 21-11-2 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Ider, their defeat dropped their record down to 37-17-2.

Looking ahead, Spring Garden will square off against Woodland at 7:00 a.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.5 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Ider does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
