Football Game Preview: Kearns Cougars vs. West Jordan Jaguars + Official Tickets

The Kearns Cougars will head out on the road to take on the West Jordan Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Kearns has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since August 15.

On Friday, Kearns came up short against Taylorsville and fell 21-14.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for West Jordan's offense. They had to suffer through a 63-0 loss at the hands of West. Having soared to a lofty 48 points in the game before, the Jaguars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Even if they lost, West Jordan's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Leading the way was Anthony Fale with two.

Kearns' defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for West Jordan, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 5-3.

Kearns was dealt a bruising 48-0 defeat at the hands of West Jordan in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Jaguars' Cody Johnson, who rushed for 86 yards and three TDs.
