After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Beverly, Swampscott was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They put the hurt on the Salem Witches with a sharp 11-4 victory. Considering the Big Blue have won three matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Swampscott now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Salem, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Swampscott will take on Danvers at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Big Blue's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Falcons have averaged an impressive 8.4 runs per game this season. As for Salem, they will challenge Marblehead at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
