Upper Scioto Valley is 10-0 against Ridgemont since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Upper Scioto Valley Rams will host the Ridgemont Golden Gophers at 7:30 p.m. Upper Scioto Valley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six games -- so hopefully Ridgemont likes a good challenge.

Last Saturday, Upper Scioto Valley humbled North Baltimore with a 64-37 victory. That 27 point margin sets a new team best for the Rams this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Ridgemont, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 58-45 win over Temple Christian on Friday. Given the Golden Gophers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Pioneers are ranked 573rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Ridgemont's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Upper Scioto Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Upper Scioto Valley skirted past Ridgemont 46-44 when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Will Upper Scioto Valley repeat their success, or does Ridgemont have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
