Basketball Game Preview: Glenn Bobcats vs. Holly Bronchos

The Glenn Bobcats will head out to take on the Holly Bronchos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Glenn has nine straight victories, Holly has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Glenn will bounce into Tuesday's matchup after beating Frankenmuth, who they had gone 0-9 against in their nine prior meetings. Glenn came out on top against Frankenmuth by a score of 60-48 on Friday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Glenn to victory, but perhaps none more so than Meech Ward, who posted 17 points. Danzell Calhoun was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Meanwhile, Holly came up short against Swartz Creek on Friday and fell 51-39. While losing is never fun, the Bronchos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 572nd, while the Dragons are ranked 173rd).

Glenn's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.2 points per game. As for Holly, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.
