Basketball Recap: Chincoteague Comes Up Short

Chincoteague managed to slip by Middlesex the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Ponies were dealt a 48-13 loss at the hands of the Chargers on Tuesday. The defeat leaves the Ponies still looking for their first win of the season.

Chincoteague's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Middlesex, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chincoteague won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Broadwater Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Middlesex, they will take on King William at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
