Volleyball Recap: White Cloud Puts Losing Streak Behind Them + How To Watch

White Cloud won the last time they faced Hesperia and Gabriella Dakin did her part to make sure it happened again. The Indians had just enough and edged out the Panthers 3-2 on Thursday thanks in part to Dakin, who had 15 digs and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

White Cloud had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 23-25, 25-19, 25-13, 15-13.

White Cloud moved to 7-12 with that win, which also ended their five-match losing streak. As for Hesperia, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-9.

White Cloud and Hesperia could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings. The Indians (ranked 445th) will meet Morley Stanwood (ranked 161st) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Hesperia will take on Western Michigan Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (520 vs. 148).
