Softball Recap: Parkview Comes Up Short

Parkview couldn't beat Concord on Wednesday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the fifth inning. The Patriots came up short against the Pirates, falling 19-8. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Parkview saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ma'Kyyah Palmer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Parkview's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Concord, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-7.

Coming up, Parkview will venture away from home to take on Nettleton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Patriots are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a 14-game losing streak. As for Concord, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cotter at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
