Gary Merrill Crosses Big Stat Threshold

St. Anthony was led to victory by Gary Merrill, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Merrill rushed for 217 yards and four touchdowns on only seven carries, and also threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 passes. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (114.7) per game. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.

For the year, Merrill has thrown 14 touchdowns while averaging 178.3 passing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had nine passing touchdowns.
