Soccer Recap: Edisto Takes a Loss

Edisto lost against Hampton County last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Edisto Cougars lost 5-0 to the Hampton County Hurricanes. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Edisto's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Hampton County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Edisto will challenge Whale Branch at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Edisto has given up an average of 4 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Hampton County, they will take on Colleton Prep Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hampton County will be up against Colleton Prep Academy's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.86 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
