Volleyball Recap: Farragut Extends Winning Streak to Three

While Farragut's victory against Heritage wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Admirals narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mountaineers 2-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Admirals, who have now won three matches in a row.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (66-56) Farragut actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 11-25, 29-27, 16-14.

Farragut found their leader in sophomore Madelyn Kupferer, who had ten digs and two assists.

Farragut's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Heritage, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Farragut wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Stone Memorial on the 22nd. As for Heritage, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Cleveland on the 19th.
