Basketball Game Preview: Harbor Springs Rams vs. Elk Rapids Elks

Harbor Springs hasn't had much luck against Elk Rapids recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Harbor Springs Rams will welcome the Elk Rapids Elks at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.

Last Tuesday, Harbor Springs strolled past Grayling with points to spare, taking the game 54-38. Given the Rams' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 42nd, while the Vikings are ranked 179th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Elk Rapids narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Cheboygan 53-50.

Harbor Springs' victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Elk Rapids, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.
