Softball Recap: Boron Comes Up Short

Boron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 11-0 to the Kern Valley Broncs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-5 back in March.

Boron's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Kern Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Boron is set to face off against their familiar foe Rosamond at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Kern Valley will challenge rival Desert at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
