Basketball Recap: Gallatin County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hardin County last Friday, Gallatin County came back down to earth. The Gallatin County Hawks came up short against the Carmi-White County Bulldogs on Monday, falling 48-28. The defeat continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost seven in a row.

Gallatin County's loss dropped their record down to 14-10. As for Carmi-White County, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-9.

Looking ahead, Gallatin County will take on Webber at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday. We've got a battle between Bulldogs coming up. Carmi-White County will need to watch out since Harrisburg has now posted at least 55 points in their last three games.
