Football Game Preview: Delta Panthers vs. Bryan Golden Bears

Delta hasn't had much luck against Bryan recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Panthers will square off against the Golden Bears at 7:00 p.m. Delta will be strutting in after a win while Bryan will be coming in after a defeat.

Delta will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any points last Friday, then bounced right back against Evergreen on Friday. The Panthers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Vikings 50-6. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won four games by 21 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Bryan had to suffer through a 49-14 loss at the hands of Wauseon. The loss continues a trend for the Golden Bears in their meetings with the Indians: they've now lost three in a row.

Delta now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Bryan, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

Everything came up roses for Delta against Bryan when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 35-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
