It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Del Valle had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Andress Eagles 9-2. That's more bragging rights for the Conquistadores, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

BRYAN GARCIA made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

In other batting news, DANIEL JUAREZ was incredible, going 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was ISAIAH GONZALEZ, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one RBI.

Del Valle's win bumped their record up to 19-10. As for Andress, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-15.

Del Valle will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
