Basketball Recap: Baldwin-Woodville Comes Up Short

Baldwin-Woodville lost against Rice Lake back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The matchup between the Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks and the Rice Lake Warriors didn't end well, with the Baldwin-Woodville Blackhawks falling 55-41. While losing is never fun, the Blackhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 291st, while the Warriors are ranked 85th).

This is the second loss in a row for Baldwin-Woodville and nudges their season record down to 6-14. As for Rice Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.

Coming up, Baldwin-Woodville will head out on the road to square off against Prescott at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Prescott is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.6 points per game this season. Rice Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
