Burroughs proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 11) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Chaminade Red Devils 7-5. Winning may never get old, but the Bombers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Burroughs' victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.7 runs over those games. As for Chaminade, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-23.

As of now, neither Burroughs nor the Red Devils have any future games scheduled.
