Basketball Recap: Island Comes Up Short

Island saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 43-36 to Punahou Gold. Island has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Island's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Punahou Gold, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.

Island will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kapa'a at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. As for Punahou Gold, they will head out to challenge Damien at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Punahou Gold is facing Damien at the right time seeing as Damien is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
