Volleyball Recap: Lockhart Takes a Loss

Lockhart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Liberty Hill Panthers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-16, 25-9.

Liberty Hill found their leader in sophomore Summer Snyder, who had 13 digs and five assists.

Lockhart's defeat dropped their record down to 5-28. As for Liberty Hill, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lockhart is set to challenge their familiar foe Cedar Park at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Liberty Hill will take on rival Rouse at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
