Soccer Recap: Diboll Comes Up Short

Diboll lost against Palestine back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Diboll Lumberjacks lost 8-0 to the Palestine Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Lumberjacks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 630th, while the Wildcats are ranked 283rd).

Diboll now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Palestine, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Diboll will face off against Madisonville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Palestine, they will take on Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy at 12:30 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy comes in on three and Palestine on eight.
