Baseball Recap: Clayton Takes a Loss

After flying high against Salem on Monday, Clayton came back down to earth. The Clippers took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Overbrook Rams on Wednesday. The Clippers haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Clayton's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Overbrook, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Rams beat Clayton by a score of 4-2 later that day.
