Basketball Recap: Leadership vs. Tennyson Lancers
Leadership won against Bay Tech on Wednesday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. Leadership narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Tennyson Lancers 61-58. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory Leadership has posted since December 15, 2023.
Several Lancers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Matthew Lorje, who went 7 of 16 en route to 17 points along with six boards and three steals. Lorje is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.
