Softball Recap: Franklin Extends Winning Streak to Three

Franklin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. Everything went their way against the Rockdale Tigers as they made off with a 17-2 win. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Franklin's victory bumped their record up to 23-3-2. As for Rockdale, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14-1.

Coming up, Franklin will challenge Bullard at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Rockdale, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Thrall at 6:00 p.m.
