Baseball Recap: Mcdaniel Extends Home Winning Streak to Six

McDaniel had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Roosevelt Roughriders 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Mountain Lions, who have now won four matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

McDaniel's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games. As for Roosevelt, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McDaniel will venture away from home to face off against Franklin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roosevelt, they will take on Skyview at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
