Giddings lost against Salado back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Giddings Buffaloes fell 3-1 to the Salado Eagles. The Buffaloes' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Giddings' defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Salado, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Giddings will face off against Lorena at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Salado, they will look to defend their home pitch on Friday against China Spring at 6:00 p.m. Salado is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.8 goals per game this season.
