Basketball Recap: Hampton Takes a Loss

Hampton lost against Fordyce back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Hampton Bulldogs took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fordyce Redbugs.

Hampton now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Fordyce, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Hampton won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Ouachita at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Fordyce, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Magnet Cove at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fordyce knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Magnet Cove likes a good challenge.
