The home team had won the previous four meetings between Wasatch and Spanish Fork, and Wasatch kept the tradition alive. The Wasps put the hurt on the Dons with a sharp 3-0 win on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Wasps: when they faced off against the Dons back in September, they had to take a 3-0 defeat.

While Wasatch won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 27-25, 25-17.

Annie Cronauer paced Wasatch's offense, picking up ten kills. Cronauer got some help from Milani Allred and her 15 assists. Allred and Cronauer didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with three apiece.

Wasatch's victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Spanish Fork, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8.

Wasatch has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Rich on the 10th. As for Spanish Fork, they will host Pleasant Grove at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Dons surely won't give up without a fight.
