Fargo Davies is a perfect 8-0 against Devils Lake since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Eagles will take on the Firebirds at 4:30 p.m. Neither Fargo Davies nor Devils Lake posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Fargo Davies is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Red River just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Roughriders by a score of 1-0.

Fargo Davies saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emery Motschenbacher, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Devils Lake's offense. They came up short against Red River on Tuesday, falling 13-0.

Devils Lake's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Fargo Davies, their loss dropped their record down to 12-4.

Fargo Davies skirted past Devils Lake 4-3 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
