Basketball Recap: Baldwin Snags Tenth Victory in Last 12 Games

Baldwin extended their postseason success on Friday against Field Kindley. They walked away with a 54-41 win over the Field Kindley Golden Tornado. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 19th, while the Golden Tornado are ranked 111th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

It was another big night for Cooper Carr, who almost dropped a double-double with 20 points and nine rebounds. The match was his third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Leo Schoenberger, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine boards.

Baldwin smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Baldwin is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season. Field Kindley's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.

Coming up, Baldwin will take on McPherson on Wednesday. One thing working in McPherson's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests. Field Kindley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
