Baseball Game Preview: Dundee Vikings vs. Hudson Tigers

The Dundee Vikings will challenge the Hudson Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Dundee's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They blew past Britton Deerfield 7-0. The contest marked the Vikings' most dominant win of the season so far.

Not much got past Carter Ray, who gave up just a hit and racked up 12 Ks to keep Britton Deerfield off the board.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Joey Brink, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cam Fairchild, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Hudson made easy work of Manchester on Friday and carried off an 11-0 victory. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by six runs or more this season.

Dundee is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Hudson, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
