Soccer Recap: Ryan Comes Up Short

After flying high against Birdville last Tuesday, Ryan came back down to earth. The Ryan Raiders came up short against the Richland Royals on Friday, falling 3-0. The Raiders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Royals apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Ryan's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-5-2. As for Richland, the win got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Ryan will host Grapevine at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Richland, they will take on Birdville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Richland is facing Birdville at the right time seeing as Birdville is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
