Volleyball Preview: South Granville Vikings vs. Riverside-Durham Pirates        
        
		
             The South Granville Vikings are on the road again  on Monday to play the Riverside-Durham Pirates at 6:45  p.m. South Granville will be strutting in after a  victory while Riverside-Durham will be coming in after a  loss.
 Last Thursday, South Granville got the win against Southern School of Energy and Sustainability  by a conclusive  3-0.
 The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-17,  25-22.
 South Granville can attribute much of their success to  Caylee Bertolette, who  had ten  digs, five  aces,  and five  aces. That's the most  aces  Bertolette has posted since back in August.
 South Granville  was lethal from the service line and  finished the game with 18  aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  served at least eight  aces in 17 consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile, Riverside-Durham was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat. They lost  3-0 to Northern Durham.
 Riverside-Durham was not held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the  third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-13,  25-23.
 South Granville's win bumped their record up to 13-4. As for Riverside-Durham, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
 Everything went South Granville's way against Riverside-Durham when the teams last played  on September 9th, as South Granville made off with  a  3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Granville since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
